Ancient Greek Apulian Redware Lekanis. Complete footed body with two horizontal handles. Complete lid with decorated finial. Classical piece of Greek pottery with a “lady of Fashion” and a winged Zepyros or Himeros on the lid.

Magna Graecia. Sothern Italy circa 350 BC

Handle to handle width 26cm. Circumference of body of bowl 16cm. Height 14cm

Condition

Very good ancient condition no obvious cracks or repaired breaks.
