Description

A nice set of three bronze Western Asiatic cloak pins displayed on a custom made stand. All three are decorated with Pin 1 having a bulbous head, and decorative sphere upper part of body. The central pin has a dome shaped head with decorative striations. The third pin has a pointed bulbous end with decorations to it and the upper body. A very nice grouping of items.

Origin

Ancient Western Asiatic area Circa 1st Millennium BC. The Western Asiatic area included  almost entirely the Middle East, and included Anatolia, the Arabian Peninsula, Iran, Mesopotamia, the Armenian Highlands, the Levant, the island of Cyprus, the Sinai Peninsula, and partly the Caucasus Region. Sometimes also referred to as the “Near East”

Condition

Good ancient condition with Verdigris patina befitting age.
